520 | # | # | |a This paper addresses the construction of the character of the king, or any agonist constructed on the type of the powerful one, in Spanish Neoclassical Tragedy. His characterization is analyzed, and his intervention in the arguments. There is studied the role and treatment of the topic of the monarchy, and the vision that is provided with the sovereign one in the pieces of the kind composed in Spain in the years of the Enlightenment. There is revealed that the king who is included in the texts of the kind is a positive model, and responds to the ideological dominant parameters in the eighteenth century, in the illustrated thought. It is an idealistic model, from which an idealized leader would arise. It is a model full of good intentions, which aims to defend an idyllic vision of society in which each member would know properly fulfill specific obligations that it would have entrusted. Through the works of playwrights convey to his audience a pattern of sovereign society fit for the moment. A sovereign, perfect, ideal, and idealized. A ruler who, if it can fulfill correctly his functions, may be able to encourage the creation of an idyllic society, in which all components play its role would know, would occupy a perfect place that the circumstances would have assigned him |
520 | # | # | |a Se aborda en este trabajo la construcción del personaje del rey, o de cualquier agonista construido sobre el tipo del poderoso, en la tragedia neoclásica española. Se analiza su caracterización, y su intervención en los argumentos. Se estudia el tratamiento y la función del tema de la monarquía, y la visión que se proporciona del soberano en las piezas del género compuestas en España en los años de la Ilustración. Se pone de manifiesto que el modelo de rey que se incluye en los textos del género es un modelo positivo, y responde a los parámetros ideológicos dominantes en el siglo xviii, en el pensamiento ilustrado. Es un modelo idealista, del que surgiría un gobernante idealizado. Es un modelo repleto de buenas intenciones, que aspira a defender una visión idílica de la sociedad, en la cual cada miembro sabría cumplir con propiedad las obligaciones específicas que tendría encomendadas. A través de las obras los dramaturgos transmiten a su auditorio un patrón de soberano apto para la sociedad del momento. Un soberano, perfecto, ideal e idealizado. Un gobernante que, si sabe cumplir correctamente sus funciones, pueda ser capaz de impulsar la creación de una sociedad idílica, en la cual todos sus componentes sabrían desempeñar correctamente su papel, ocuparían a la perfección el lugar que las circunstancias le habrían asignado |
